[OpenVerse] Windows problem!

Hello,

  I'm in NZ on mellee's computer and it's got a strange OV problem.

Whenever it tries to open history.txt or passageways.txt during startup it
generates an error "Permission Denied"

  Does anyone know what sort of windows crap could be causing this?

  I'm blaming the virus scanner she just installed cause it only seems to
have started since then.
