[OpenVerse] Suggestion for the inclusion of an application into your distro
Hi there
I've been a devoted SuSE user since 6.1 and always recommend it to my
friends because of the wide choice of applications it offers. There is
one application I regularly use which is not currently included in your
releases and I'd appreciate it if you could consider doing so.
The program is called OpenVerse and is a graphical chat environment
covered by the GPL. It is fully-featured and stable, including support
for plug-ins, customised, animated avatars and various strange
maneouvres which can be achieved on-screen. The server code is also
included, so users can create their own OpenVerse environments.
I'd be grateful if you could take a look at the program (URL in sig) and
consider it for inclusion in your next release. I believe it would be a
major boost to Linux's take-over of the desktop, but then I'm biased
because I'm good friends with the lead developer and also contribute
documentation for the project (mostly to do with SuSE installation!).
Cheers
Mark
