Someday there will be a MOVE_OBJ protocol command until then you will have to
fake it by deleting the object and re-creating it somewhere else. An object's
location is not something that can be changed with a create statement..
IMHO you should drop the idea of trying to "move" a chess piece (for now).
you've already experienced the problems related with items on top of another
item and deleting your object and re-creating it will change it's layer level.
The object commands currectly existing are used to create the object and in
some cases, change it's properties (such as the time it expires, it's color, or
it's text, image objects allow you to change the image(s) displayed). The change
of properties is available for most objects. It's not checked into CVS yet but
the BOX object will now allow you to change it's color properties. let me know
if you see an object which could use better/more support for changing it's
properties.
