With the ability to use any gif in openverse, this would be too much of a
burdeon on users (IMHO).

I think that a plugin with built in avatars for all of these thing s would be
better. I do like the idea though but think that it should be left to a plugin.
Any other feedback?

Obscura, I will unlink you for the time being, and will be more than happy to
re-link you when you return. Thanks for letting me know. Perhaps when you
return our user base will be larger and your server will be more popular.

I know that the "main room" is ":the place" right now and this is changing
rapidly as new users come onto the system. More servers are better and over
time, they will get lots more use. I'm not at all apposed to people modifying
the default sever setting to their own and distributing clients with this
setting. In fact, I encourage it!
