Shouldn't there be a way of allowing the user to be in the room (so he
can pass through) while removing his abilities to see anyone else, see
any messages, or speak?

I think it should be called /shun or /ignore.  Plus this should be
reversable.  /welcome?

And would the shunned user's name show up in the list?  I think so.

What about dynamic IP addresses?  This wouldn't work for those unless
the whole server is banned.

/unban... hmm.  Maybe the user could be banned for a day or so to let
him think about what he did.

Nice.  What about an offensive nick?

What if the user changed his avatar straight back to the offensive one?

I would be interested in a console application that allows chatting in
OpenVerse.  This is for slow computers like mine that don't get along
very well with X.

Interesting... but some of these should be grayed or hidden for non-ops.

That's interesting, but I don't think I would use it.

Would the avatars be resized as well?  And the font sizes?
