Re: [OpenVerse] signal to server to send a message?
As someone who used to run lots of Palace servers, let me say that this is
a very useful feature. It is very annoying to have to start up a client
and go to many rooms announcing that the server is going down and will be
up shortly. A stripped down OV client that would broadcast to all the
OpenVerse servers running on a box would eliminate this problem. A small
config file could list the server ports to which the announcements should
be made.
